The EXPLORER™ 700 is the highest performance BGAN terminal in the Thrane & Thrane EXPLORER™ family. It is a 7 pound full service Class I portable satellite terminal that provides the same communications services you have in your home or office. An RJ-11 analog phone port can be used for an analog voice handset, modem device, or G3 fax machine. An optional cordless BlueTooth voice handset works at distances up to 100 meters from the terminal. For standard IP data internet access or streaming IP data, connect your computer to the EXPLORER™ 700 via Ethernet LAN, USB, or wirelessly via Bluetooth. There are two ISDN RJ-45 jacks and two Ethernet RJ-45 jacks. Weatherproofing technology makes the EXPLORER™ 700 resistant to water and dust. An integrated cable lets you remote the indoor unit up to 100 meters from the antenna for outdoor mounting applications. The EXPLORER™ 700 is suitable for the most demanding applications such as video and VPN.
